Meet Florence aka Flo!

Flo is a lively, affectionate girl with a puppy heart and a whole lot of love to give. She missed out on a proper puppyhood, but she's making up for it now with plenty of playful energy and an eagerness to learn!

Every sound, scent, and squirrel is an exciting new discovery, and while she's still figuring out the world, she's making wonderful progress in her foster home with positive reinforcement and lots of encouragement (plus the occasional liver treat)!

She's working on her manners and boundaries-sometimes her enthusiasm gets the best of her-and she's nearly housetrained, with only occasional accidents. Her leash skills have come a long way, and she's learning quickly.

She can be a bit unsure around men at first and needs a little time and patience to feel comfortable, but she bonds quickly with women. She loves her crate and settles well for naps and downtime (great for getting her beauty sleep!). She's cat-friendly (even if not all cats appreciate her playful personality), and while toys aren't her thing, she's happiest just being with her people. Car rides are no problem-especially if there's a pup cup involved!

She's looking for a calm, structured home with a fenced yard for zoomies and someone committed to helping her continue to build confidence. She would do best as the only dog and in a home where she won't be left alone for long periods. In return, she'll offer endless affection, loyalty, and a warm spot on the couch!
