After four years in the rescue – yes, FOUR YEARS – our boy Henry went to his forever home yesterday. Henry was part of a large group of rabbits and guinea pigs we took in from the OSPCA in 2014 after they were removed from a house of horrors. They were the lucky ones who survived incredibly poor conditions and treatment when many did not.
Henry was a young guy when he arrived. He grew into a beautiful large breed bunny with velvet fur (he’s pictured here on intake and as the big beauty he became). Large breed rabbits tend to be harder to place and, for some reason, Henry took an extra-long time. Thankfully, he had an amazing, committed foster home who cared for him for 4+ years while he waited for his perfect person to come along. Happy trails, Henry.
